The Investigators, Inc. The Mysterious Mystery Case. Chapter 10. Rescue Time.

Once Aari, Kat and the rest of the Black Wolves were on their way home, he contacted me to see if they should stay and watch Nikolaus and Andressa for a while longer. I told him that would be a good idea, at least until Jennifer and the other ghosts rescue Elizabeth from that photo studio. Obviously that studio is used by the Bauer’s for their sex trafficking. I wonder how many other such studios they have for their sex business.

Perhaps when we have Elizabeth safely with us then we will do something with the Bauer siblings. Actually, we have found out that they are more than just siblings, they are engaged, which would explain a few things, though I’m not quite sure how that would work. Meanwhile, back in London, Jennifer, Sky, Kitty and Carine are getting ready to rescue Elizabeth. They watched the studio to make sure they didn’t take Elizabeth out of there. Sky brought the children here so they would be safe. They were a bit scared at first until they saw all the cats and the other children.

Steffie and Erika were a big help getting these children settled down quickly too, introducing them to all the cats and all their auntie’s. I figured it would be best for me to stay away for a while since apparently it was all men at that studio. Of course, being in the clinic made it quite easy to stay away. Cassie even made a special batch of donuts for the children. Just then my door opened and a familiar head peeked in. It was Misty! “Hey, shouldn’t you be in bed still?” I asked. “Shh,” she said, “someone might hear you.” She then sat on the bed and took out 4 donuts.

“Good thing these gowns have big pockets,” she said smiling, “but it sure wasn’t easy getting these donuts.” “I don’t believe you,” I said, munching on my donut, “you’re the best sneaker in the world.” “Aww, thank you Steve,” she said. “If Samantha catches you in here, you’ll be in big trouble,” I said. “She won’t,” said Misty confidently. Just then the door opened and Misty disappeared amazingly fast. “I thought Misty might be in here,” said Samantha frowning. “I think Cassie is making donuts for the kids,” I said. “Aha!” said Samantha, “That’s where she is!” Off she went.

“That was close,” said Misty, “guess I better get back to my room.” Off she went. Meanwhile, back in London for sure this time. Jennifer went inside first and unlocked the door for the others. All of them remained invisible though. As soon as the door opened, it set off the alarm and four men with guns arrived and looked around the small room, and one looked outside. “You sure this door was locked?” asked Edgar. “Yeah, I locked it,” said Hugh, “I know I did.”

“The door is still locked,” said Brian, “but I don’t see how it could open like this.” “It can when a ghost opens the door,” said Jennifer, still invisible. “Who said that?” asked Hugh. “She said that,” said Sky. “It’s just us ghosts,” said Kitty. “I don’t believe in ghosts!” said Hugh. The girls then made themselves visible, but just partly, the men could still see through them. “Whoa, look at that!” said Edgar. “They’re not real,” growled Hugh. Then Jennifer made herself normal. “Is this better for you?” asked Jennifer. “Okay lady,” said Hugh, “come with us.”

“No, you don’t scare me with that gun,” she said, “you can’t kill a ghost, I’m already dead.” “I have no patience with people like you!” said Hugh and he shot Jennifer twice. But the bullets went right through her and into the wall. “H, hey, those bullets went right through that lady!” exclaimed Brian. “She ain’t real,” said Hugh and he went over and touched Jennifer, “she is real.” “Hey, don’t touch me you creep!” yelled Jennifer. She then picked him up with one hand and tossed him across the room. The other men’s guns got hot so they had to drop them.

Then each of the girls fought the remaining men, which didn’t take long. Then they went through the doorway and upstairs to the second floor where they encountered 4 more men which they quickly disposed of. They looked around that floor but there was no one else there, so they went upstairs to the third floor, but there was another locked door. Jennifer went in first again and unlocked the door for the others. Kitty then heard a noise behind another door so she opened it to find some men making a video and using Elizabeth.

Sky destroyed the camera and the girls went to work! Soon these men were all lying on the floor and the girls rescued Elizabeth, plus another woman who was locked in another room. Off they went and once outside they called the police and told them what is going on in that studio. The police arrived and arrested the men that were still alive, though not much will likely happen to them unless Elizabeth and the other woman wish to press charges. We will see what happens.

The girls took the vans back to Mandar, then put the ladies to sleep and Sky brought everyone back to the chateau. Elizabeth and Marissa are in the clinic so that Samantha can check them out thoroughly. We haven’t told the children that their mother is here, we will do that tomorrow. In the morning, after breakfast, I went in with Jennifer and Kat to visit with our new guests. Apparently Elizabeth wanted to call me about locating her children, then she doesn’t remember anything until she woke up in that studio in a bedroom with her children.

She knew nothing about what her sister was doing, or that she was trying to steal secrets for selling to Nikolas and Andressa. She figured that Hagen and Nikolas were different men and that one of them had killed her husband and then her boyfriend. Actually, we had discovered that her sister Elly had killed her husband because she was in love with him and he would have nothing to do with her. She then killed Elizabeth’s boyfriend next because he would get in the way of her plans. It seems that Elly hated Elizabeth from their childhood days because Elizabeth was always more popular. Jealousy can be a terrible thing.
