For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hello everyone! Welcome back to more fun this evening! Here at Steve’s Country we like to have some fun, enjoy a few laughs, giggles and sometimes a few groans as well. Laughing always makes a person feel good, happiness is better than grumbling, smiling and laughing makes stress go away and actually helps our health and overall mood to be much better as well. So, let’s get with the fun funnies for today!

A group of chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel and were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories.
After about an hour, the manager came out of the office and asked them to disperse.
But why?” they asked, as they moved off.
“Because,” he said, “I can’t stand chess nuts boasting in an open foyer.” (hmm, maybe I should have saved this one for Christmas!)

Nothing written in fine print is ever good news.

Once again, somebody glued my deck of cards together. I just can’t deal with it.

Soon, for all you pun lovers, I plan to share a whole bunch of puns about library books. I know, I know, they are long overdue!

A husband and wife are getting ready for bed. The wife is standing in front of a full length mirror taking a hard look at herself.
“You know, dear,” she says, “I look in the mirror and I see an old woman. My face is all wrinkled, every thing else is either sagging or bloated.
I’ve got fat legs, and my arms are all flabby.”
She turns to her husband and says, “Tell me something positive to make me feel better about myself.”
He studies hard for a moment thinking about it and then says in a soft, thoughtful voice, “Well, there’s nothing wrong with your eyesight.”
The husband will be getting out of the hospital in about 3 weeks.

I’m writing a book about all the things I should be doing in my life. It’s an oughtobiography.

Interviewer: What drives you?
Candidate: The bus mostly.
Interviewer: I mean what motivates you to get out of bed in the morning?
Candidate: Missing the bus!

My favorite childhood memory is having energy.

I should have been sad when my flashlight batteries died, but I was delighted.
======
My wife and I always laugh at how competitive we both are, but if the truth be known, I laugh a lot more than her.

Well, that is all for this week. Have a great week everyone and God bless!
