I must admit, I really was enjoying my walk with Kristina. We kept going along one of several paths we have on the estate, talking and laughing. Meanwhile, at the chateau… the alarm sounded. Everyone began running, Sigurbjorn locked Jennifer’s door and ran to join the others. Meow,meow!=Hear chop chop! Carine, Angel and the cats ran around the other side of the house in time to see a helicopter flying away.

Meanwhile, in Stockholm… Rock and the others got in fairly early and began to look around in an area of the city where Toledo would likely be staying. They began to check with the best hotels in that area but came up empty. Then they decided to check out some of the apartment buildings in the area too. A man outside one of the apartment buildings said he had seen Toledo in the building a few times and that he had gotten off on the 15th floor one time when he was on the elevator.

They paid the man generously who then let them inside, but they could not see his name on the list. He could be using a different name, but the man who had let them in went and talked to a security person that he knew quite well and came back to tell Rock that Toledo was in suite 1510. Up they went and Luvia rang the buzzer, and a man opened the door.

That is when Rock smashed his way in knocking the man to the floor. The others then came rushing in and a fight began with Toledo and his 5 men. However, they were no match for the girls who quickly subdued Toledo’s men while Rock picked up Toledo and tossed him against the wall knocking him out. They then left and on the main floor the security guard confronted them, but Ilda explained the man was hurt and they were taking him to the hospital.

That was true, but the hospital was our clinic. Soon they were flying back to France, very happy that their mission had been successful, and quick. They phoned to tell me the good news, but no answer. Then they called Annelie who told them the bad news. There was silence on the plane. Everyone looked at Toledo who was handcuffed and chained to one of the chairs. Rock left Benson to fly the jet while he went to check on Toledo.

Rock stopped when he saw that everyone was silent and just kind of staring. “What is wrong?” he asked. Then the girls told him what had happened. He was about ready to tear Toledo apart, but the girls convinced him not to do anything, it was important to bring Toledo back to question him.

Meanwhile… I opened my eyes but could not see anything. I was lying down on a rather hard and cold floor, and I was tied to someone. “Is that you Kristina?” I asked quietly. “Yes,” she answered, “nice to see you are awake now. I woke up about 5 minutes ago, but still cannot see much, it is so dark in here. I think we are in a cave.”

“That makes sense,” I said, “this floor does feel like rock, and definitely uneven, not comfortable at all. Have you seen or heard anyone yet?” “No, no one,” she said, “I do not remember anything except you and I walking along the path, then waking up here.” “That is the same with me,” I said, “but I guess we will find out sooner or later what is going on. I have a feeling it has to do with Lavina.” “Yes, I was thinking the same thing,” Kristina answered.
