Tuesday’s Chatter. #2

Good morning on this much milder Tuesday! It was nice being able to put seeds out this morning without freezing my hands. I think the birds are happier as well, I can actually see their little feet today. The chickadees and redpolls were the first to arrive as usual. The pine grosbeaks were not too far behind. The evening grosbeaks always come a bit later, as do the blue jays. The nuthatches are kind of in between those 2 groups. The woodpeckers do not really have any kind of schedule, they just come when they show up.

Muffin was up early this morning, bouncing on me so I would get up and play with her. So I pulled myself out of bed, banged into my bedside shelves, smacked into the doorframe (almost made it through the doorway), missed tripping over Muffin and fell against my desk, made it to the kitchen and bent over to pet Muffin who was running circles around my legs, banged my head on the counter, decided on a trip to the bathroom (actually made it through the doorway without mishap), came back out, smacked into the doorway with my right shoulder (almost made it).

Muffin was still running in circles though not around me, she let me get some coffee brewing then off to the living room for play time, however, by this time she had been running wildly around the room, into the bedroom onto the bed, the window sill, onto the insulator display shelves, across her “bridge” and up to her “cave” and then back again only to repeat the procedure 2 more times so she was tired by the time I was ready to play. I tried to get her interested in our game of mousy, but all she did was lay there watching me toss the mouse around the room and chase it. I think she enjoys that. I enjoy it too when she is actually participating in the game as well.

And since she was not I decided to go get my coffee. That is the way to wake up, with a nice hot cup of coffee, while Muffin enjoys her breakfast. We were both happy now. Muffin was happy that she was able to get me out of bed to play and I was happy to watch her play and then enjoy some hot coffee. The birds are busy, there are a lot of them out there again. The forecast high for today is 16F (-9C), so I am going to head down to the river and see if I can make it all the way. A lot of people have been using the path so it should be easier walking. Hopefully. Guess I will find out. Thank you all for stopping by, have a great day and God bless!

Steve And Muffin’s Funny Monday. #1

Hi everyone! Well, here we are back again with some more chuckles for you to enjoy! Please feel free to smile, giggle or laugh. And here we go…

Artist- “Now, here is a picture, one of my best too, I have just finished. When I started out I had no idea what it was going to be.”

Visitor- “After you were finished, how did you find out what it was?”

==================

Artist- “That, sir, is a cow grazing.”

Visitor- “Where is the grass?”

Artist- “The cow has eaten it.”

Visitor- “But where is the cow?”

Artist- “You don’t suppose she would be foolish enough to stay there after she had eaten the grass, do you?”

==============

Just a short couple of humorous bits of humor today. Enjoy your smiles and God bless!
