Good morning everyone! I hope you all are having a good day so far. It was an interesting day here yesterday. You probably noticed that I didn’t do any posts after my morning daily pics. That’s because of circumstances beyond my control, namely, my laptop wasn’t working for 7 hours. And once it started working there was still things that needed to be redone and put back in order. Amazing how these things always happen to me.😂 But it was still a wonderful day and I was able to get many things done anyway. So hopefully today I will post chapter 14 of 20/20 Investigations, Inc., plus the regulars for today. Anyway, I did have to change things a bit for the pics this morning since my pictures got a bit mixed up and I also lost some that I was going to use today. Oh well.
So, here we go with today’s picks of pics…
We will start with this male hairy woodpecker coming to get his early morning breakfast of sunflower seeds on a beautiful sunny day in June.
Also that same sunny June morning Baxter the blue jay came for his late morning snack of peanuts.
Two nice sunny summer pics of some bird friends here at Steve’s Country. Always great to remember those warm summer days this time of the year. I hope you all have a great Tuesday and God bless!

Good Monday morning everyone! How are you all doing on this fine day? I know, I know, you’re thinking, “there’s that nut being happy on a Monday again”. I can’t help it though, really. You know, if we get up in the morning and tell ourselves it’s going to be a terrible day, then even if it’s a glorious sunny and warm morning, we’re going to have a terrible day. But if we get up and tell ourselves, hey, this is going to be a great day, then it will be a great day. Even if it’s a raging blizzard outside. After all, if it was, no work today, go back to bed and sleep a couple more hours. See? Always a positive even in a negative. But in truth, it starts with how we think, especially how we think when we start our day. So why not say it’s going to be a great day? Really, who wants a terrible day? So why start the day thinking that way? Get a positive look at the day instead.
And on that note, let’s get a look at some nice positive pics to get us started…
First up is this Canada goose and baby swimming along on the lake last summer, really a beautiful sight.
And another look at mother merganser and her little ducklings. How can you not get a smile looking at those little critters? They are beautiful indeed.
