For a smile as wide as a country sunrise

Good morning everyone! Here we are enjoying another nice cold January morning. Muffin is looking out the window as usual after enjoying her breakfast. Soon she will be ready for some playtime. By then it should be daylight and the birds will be showing up for their breakfast. Somewhere in here I hope to enjoy my breakfast too.😂Well, we certainly didn’t get much snow yesterday, but that’s okay with me. I really don’t mind that part at all. But, as usual, the cold air always moves in after the snow. But it’s winter, and cold is part of winter. Which is why I like summer. It’s much warmer. And I really do like that part. I’m a warm weather person.
But until the warm weather returns, we still have warm pics…

And here we have the pale corydalis, related to the golden in the picture at the top. These are found in dry, rocky and open areas.
If you remember those fuzzy seeds pictured in nature’s art yesterday, these are the flowers that produced them. And the bees love them! I don’t know the name though, but they are a garden variety flower, not a wildflower.
Even seeing pics of bees makes me think of warm temps behind, but also coming up again in a few months. I hope you all have a great Friday and God bless!

HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY MUFFIN!!! Hey everyone, say happy birthday to Muffin today!
Good morning everyone! It’s been a wild morning around here! We had an extra wild time playing with Muffin’s toys. She really likes this fuzz ball she got for Christmas, can she ever toss that thing around!! Muffin had her special birthday breakfast served to her on an antique china plate, blue willow pattern, part of my collection. She doesn’t get that plate every day, only for special occasions. Like her birthday. Anyway, I toss her ball and she chases after it and most of the time brings it back to me to toss again. And, of course, playing skiffleball which she thoroughly enjoys also. So, I am just going to share a few different pics of Muffin for her birthday post, starting off with a pic of her boyfriend, Scrappy who wanted to say “happy birthday” to Muffin as well.
And here we go…

Muffin meows thanks to everyone for showing up for her birthday party!
