For a smile as wide as a country sunrise

Good morning everyone on this fine Sunday in January! It’s hard to believe it is January with these nice mild temperatures we have had lately. I don’t mind however. It certainly makes winter a lot easier when it isn’t bitterly cold. I think the birds agree with that thought. So does my little squirrel who seems to be really enjoying winter. Running around through the snow. Climbing up and down trees like he was in a race. Wow, he can really move going up and down and running along branches from tree to tree like he has his own little highway up there. Then he takes a break, comes here and feasts on some peanuts and then he’s back at it again.
And today we have some beautiful flowers from Hawaii which my friend Candace has allowed me to use…

This first one is a beautiful plumeria. These flowers come in a variety of colors.

And here we have a yellow and red hibiscus which is certainly a sunny, bright flower to begin our day. Thank you so much Candace for letting me use these pics today! The top pic of blue flowers is mine.
And thank you everyone for stopping by today, I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and God bless!

I would like to tell today,
Of my human’s funny way.
I just love to bite his feet,
And watch him dance, it is neat.
He will hit his head and sit
On the floor, and groan a bit.
He will kick a chair, it’s true,
Make funny face, big eyes too.
He drops his food on the floor,
Then steps on it, but there’s more.
When he does, he slides around,
Flaps his arms, but he has found
He can’t fly, just falls right down,
And on his face, such a frown!
But when his feet I do bite,
He dances ’round with delight!
