For a smile as wide as a country sunrise

Hello on this another mild December morning! Mild for us anyway. And, we should get to see some sunshine today which will be a nice treat. Maybe that will bring a few more birds around too. That would also be a nice treat. There just hasn’t been much activity out there the last few days and that is so very odd. However, I think that is mainly because the natural food supply is so good this winter. And that will keep the birds away from the feeders a bit, they just kind of show up for an added snack. Every winter is so different. At least this one has been a nice break so far from the last 3 winters. However, there is still a lot of winter left.
But instead of winter, let’s look at summer…

Here are some really interesting pink flowers and at least a few of them were actually in bloom. Too bad I don’t know much about tropical flowers.
And these are certainly a bright sunshiny yellow. Great way to start the day.
I hope you will join me again tomorrow for more bright and cheerful tropical flowers. Until then, Happy Friday and God bless!

Hello everyone and welcome to my first Food Award! I must admit, never thought I would every get a food award. Considering I don’t know how to cook. However, I do know how to eat and enjoy it too. Except that most of the food I like I can no longer eat. Sigh. These things happen. I was very kindly given this award by Mrs. Holliman, thank you so very much!! If you haven’t yet checked out her blog, now’s your chance to stop by, say “hi” and maybe give a follow!
Rules for the Food Award 2.0:
Mrs. Hollimans 5 questions for me:

Continuing my new end of year holiday tradition, anyone who would like the award can claim it and answer the same 5 questions above! Have fun! Or not.
Thanks once again Mrs. Holliman for giving me this great award! I hope you all have a wonderful day and God bless!
Steve and Muffin. (who actually slept through this award, amazing)
