For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Though it is cold, I like to stand,
With seeds upon my outstretched hand,
And little birds will come so free,
I talk to them, and they to me.
Amazing thing when they will land,
So freely there upon my hand.
I find it always so much fun,
Especially when there’s more than one.
They’ll sit upon my arm and head,
All waiting for their turn, instead
Of going to the feeder where
The seeds they want, they can get there.
But this can bring such joy I find,
It is a great way to unwind.
Stress always flies away with wings,
And happiness it always brings.

Hi everybody! How are you this morning? It’s a bit on the cold side here again, but warming up today and the weekend looks great, nice and mild. Our snow should start to melt once again. We might even get to see the sun today. That would be nice indeed. But even if we don’t see the sun for a long time, we need to keep smiling and remember that the sun will return. In the mean time, more sunny pictures await us today.
To start our day, we have a nice bright red hollyhock.
Followed by a blue and lavender delphinium. The other day we had a blue and white delphinium. There is one more color to show another day.
Oh, Happy Friday to all of you! Did you think I would forget? Have a great day and God bless!
Steve and Muffin.
