Good morning on this milder winter Saturday. Such strange weather we are having, but I do like the milder weather so I won’t complain. It was so nice to have that sunny day yesterday. The sun was shining so beautifully into my apartment. Muffin enjoyed sleeping in her patch of sunshine once again. I’m sure she has missed that little joy. And I managed to get a few sunny winter pics today as well. It was a good day for sure. We should always take some time to enjoy the little pleasures of each day. And here we have a nice bright white delphinium. And that concludes the 3 different colors of delphiniums in my landlord’s garden.

Nature’s Art #1.
Hello on this beautiful Friday evening! And welcome to something new here at Steve’s Country. In addition to my Daily Pics series I am starting a Nature’s Art series. However, this will not be daily but probably just twice a week. For now at least, that will be Monday and Friday, though I may change that. It will show some pics I have taken throughout the summer and autumn, little vignettes of various things in nature that I thought were very much worthy of being termed “art”. So, let’s get started with our new series of pics…
This picture was taken right after one of our frequent showers this autumn.
This is one of my favorite white pine trees with roots, with homes for some little birds carved out. This is by the river and last time I was down there the water was right up to the top of that rock at the base of the tree.
