Hello everyone and here we are with my 15th Sunshine Blogger Award! Wow, this is absolutely great making it this far. And, it’s another goal reached here at Steve’s Country! I was hoping to make it to 15 this year and who knows, maybe it will go beyond that too! Thank you so much Richard over at Bigskybuckeye for this nomination!! I’m sorry though that it has taken so long to get it done. But I certainly do appreciate that you thought of me for this fantastic award!

MEOW!😼 Chomp! AAAAAAAA!!!!!!😲 My foot! Muffin inspires me!😺👍 She always finds a way to do it too!😸🙄 How does she know when I’m doing one of these awards anyway?🤔🙄
- How has blogging benefited your life? By making many new friends around the world, growing in my writing.😁 Meow!=by allowing me to share my point of view, meeting new cat friends.😸😻
- Do you like to experience nature? YES!! For both of us!😁😸 If so, what is one of your favorite activities? Walking in the forest, sitting by the river or lake and writing poems, photography, feeding birds, making friends with various animals.😃 Muffin adds, watching chipmunks,😺🐿 sniffing fresh air in summer.😸
- How important is family to you? Well, I don’t have my own family so…MEOW!! As I was about to add, so Muffin is my family and she is very important to me, sharing, playing, cuddling.😁😸 Whew, that was close.😬
- What is your favorite season of the year? SUMMER!!! 😃😂🤸♂️ Why is it your favorite? It’s warm, everything is growing, it’s warm, flowers are blooming, it’s warm, all the amazing animal life, and it’s warm.🌞🌞🌼🌼🌳🌳🙄
- What month were you born? June! A nice warm month. Have I mentioned that I like warm months? 🤔 Well, I do.😁🌞
- If you could visit any place in the world for the first time, where would you want to go? About 550 places, so I’ll use the short list: Sweden, England, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Australia, Hawaii. Now, places within those places would be the long list.🤸♂️🥳👍🏝⛱😎
- Who is one of your most favorite authors? Actually, I don’t have one. That was easy.🙂
- What is something which you have a great deal of passion for? Nature, photography, warm places. He asked.😀🙄

Is It Only My Human?
Hi everyone! I’m back again with another of my ‘mewsings’. It is so terrible that winter is back and there is nothing happening outside for me to watch. No chipmunks. Not even many birds. Can’t have my window open. Or the door. It would be really boring, except…there is still my human! And he is always doing something strange. Except right now, but I know that once he’s feeling better then he will be back to his funny ways! Some of the things he does are really unbelievable. But before I share some things I just want you to know none of these things has happened since he injured himself. They were all before that.
Like one day he had just poured himself a cup of coffee and he reached for something. His elbow hit the coffee cup which spilled coffee on his arm, his leg, his foot and all over the floor! Guess it was hot so he started doing his happy dance and of course he slipped on the wet floor and sat down. Right in the coffee! Why would he want to do that? Amazing how much coffee there is in one of those cups. Well, he does use rather large cups. Off he went to change his clothes. I was rolling on the floor laughing over that one! Usually he just has to change his socks.
One day his shower curtain rod fell down so he was trying to put it back up. Seems he was having some trouble doing that. I was watching from a safe distance. There he is standing on the edge of the bathtub, which isn’t very wide. I do it all the time, but I have 4 feet, and better balance. He thought the curtain rod was in place so he let go. Then he started waving his arms and one leg. That didn’t seem too smart, standing on one leg on the edge of the bathtub. He got his leg back in place but was still waving his arms. Then the other leg went in the air, arms waving frantically like he was trying to fly. I think he’s been hanging around the birds too much.
Then up went his other leg. Hmm, not good, he’s completely airborne now and look at those arms move! Didn’t help him though and he came crashing down in the bathtub. What an odd place to lie down. He does have a nice bed if he’s tired. And he must be tired after waving his arms like that. But he was doing his human purring so I knew everything was okay. He got up and went to lie down on his bed, purring the whole time. I still don’t know why he calls it ‘groaning’. Such an odd name.
Well, I think that’s all for now. But there is more I could share, a lot more! So I will be back with more fun with my human another day. Until then, I hope you all have a wonderful week! Don’t forget to hug your pet every day!
