For a smile as wide as a country sunrise

Good morning and welcome back to another look at art in nature. And we will continue to look at winter art this time. Nothing like being cold when it’s cold. But there is a lot of art around in the winter if we are brave enough to stop for a few minutes to admire it. But, once again, many people don’t even think of some of these things, just pass right by without a second look. But the beauty is there if we want to take the time to notice it. Whether the sun shines, or it’s cloudy, snowing, raining, there is always beauty in nature’s art for us to enjoy.
So, here we go with our nature pics for today…

The seed remnants of some beautiful blue flowers.
And some golden leaves glowing in the winter sunshine.
That’s it for nature’s art for today, I hope you will come back for more on Saturday. Enjoy your day and God bless!

Hi everyone on this snowy morning here at Steve’s Country! It is a bit milder at least, but very snowy. Then tomorrow we head back into more cold again. In other words, it’s winter for us! Poor Muffin, she does not like looking out the window when it’s snowing. I can understand that, snow means winter, more snow just means more winter. She wants spring so she can have her window open again, and watch her chipmunks. I agree. Muffin and I both prefer summer over winter any day. Some people would prefer winter over summer. Everyone is different. Though I still can’t understand choosing -30C (-22F) over 30C (86F). You just can’t stay warm for long outside at cold temps. And it can get a lot colder than that around here. Oh well.
I think it’s time for some warm thoughts…

And here we have an odd one, called the grass-of-parnassus, which isn’t grass but is a very beautiful flower and grows in wet areas around here.
And here is the beautiful and dainty harebell. It likes to grow on dry rocky areas, but will grow most anywhere as long as it’s not too wet.
There is today’s wildflower pictures to share with you. Brings back nice warm summer thoughts for sure. I hope you have a great day and God bless!
