Winter Is Here…A Fun Poem.
Winter Is Here
Winter is here with all it’s woes,
It freezes my face and my toes.
But really now, what can I do?
If you were here, you would freeze too!
It takes so long now to get dressed
To go outside, my mind gets messed.
Did I get dressed to go outside?
Or have I been and back inside?
My frozen nose falls in the snow,
I look for it, where did it go?
My hands I can no longer feel,
No one believes this cold is real.
So many clothes are needed when
I go outside, I cannot bend!
I cannot move, I am so cold,
On moving south, I’m really sold!

Wednesday’s Pictures #5.
Hi everyone! I’m a little late getting my Wednesday’s Pictures posted. But it’s one of those days. A cold and windy winter day. So today I thought we would go with some cute pictures of the many squirrels I have had around my deck and walkway. I know that some people don’t like squirrels, and they can get to be a bit of a problem at times. But they still are cute and generally a joy to have around. They are one of those “sunny” animals that bring a smile to me, and hopefully they will for you too.
My first squirrel at this place and I named him Squirk. Yes, I know, it’s an odd name.😂
Above is Mama Chip, just look at that nice little smile she has for us.
Above is Chipper, my all time favorite squirrel. She had 4 cute babies last year which were so much fun to watch playing on the deck. She took them off somewhere and never came back.
