For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hello to all my friends out there around the world! Here we are with another award which is my third for this one. I would like to sincerely thank Keziah for nominating me for this award!! Keziah is one of my teen readers and has a great blog so please check her out. And she is very patient, she still gives me awards even though it takes me awhile to get them done! Thanks again Keziah!

The Random Acts Of Kindness Award rules:
I will share a story of a man I know. A few years back he would visit an elderly couple each week. The wife of the elderly man had alzheimers and kept repeating herself constantly all day long. She also could not be left alone. So this man I know would visit them and would sit and have tea with the woman while her husband could have a break. Sometimes the husband would go outside and do yard work or just lay down and relax. Sometimes he would go shopping. But it gave the husband time to do other things which was much needed since he was under a lot of stress looking after his wife.
And sometimes too the man I know would do the shopping for this couple and also help them with other things that they needed done around their house. He wasn’t looking for anything in return, he just enjoyed being able to help out this older couple.
I would definitely call that an act of kindness although I don’t know if it would be considered a random act, it was more of a planned act I guess. But it is always nice to see when people are willing to help out like that, something that seems to be rare.
Now to nominate some people:

THE LAKE
The beauty of the lake I see,
This lake so calm in front of me.
It’s filled with islands that are found,
In sizes and shapes all around.
It’s summer beauty sure does shine,
For your enjoyment and for mine.
With such tall pine trees all around,
The home of eagles can be found.
The loon lives here, though numbers few,
It’s nightly cries, so haunting too.
Sandy beaches found everywhere,
Time to relax without a care.
The sun shining in early morn,
With golden warmth to all adorn.
So bright and red, the setting sun,
Signals a calm from the days fun.
