Hi hi everyone!😺 It Friday and you know what that mean! It mean I back again with more fun funnies for Friday! It been hot here for few days. Apartment now hot too. Very hot. My human not think so that it hot, but it is hot. My human having fun this week. He not think it fun but he sure spend lots time doing something, so must be fun. He lose his blog. All of it.🙀 Nothing left so have to start all over again. Except it still there for people to read. Just not for my human. It gone for him. And he not able to leave comments or do like button thing on others blogs. He spend lots time trying to sort it out. Lots more to it than what I say, it too much for me to understand. My human say same thing for himself. Oh well, here is funnies for today…

“I’ll need about a pint of gas,” he said to the attendant, “and a few ounces of oil for the motor.”
“Certainly, sir,” the attendant said, “And would you also like me to cough into your tires?”

Everyone in the wedding ceremony was watching the radiant bride as her father escorted her down the aisle to give her away to the groom. They reached the altar and the waiting groom; the bride kissed her father and placed something in his hand.
Everyone in the room was wondering what it was that she handed to her father. He felt the suspense in the air and all eyes were on him to divulge the secret and say something. Therefore, he announced, “Ladies and Gentlemen today is the luckiest day of my life.”
Then he raised his hand with what his daughter had given him and continued, “My daughter finally, finally returned my credit card to me.”
The whole audience, including the minister, started laughing.

Although he was a qualified meteorologist, Hopkins ran up a terrible record of forecasting the weather for the TV news program.
He became something of a local joke when a newspaper began keeping a record of his predictions and showed that he’d been wrong almost three hundred times in a single year. That kind of notoriety was enough to get him fired.
He moved to another part of the country and applied for a similar job. One blank on the job application called for the reason for leaving his previous position.
Hopkins wrote, “The climate didn’t agree with me.”

Summer Ramblings. #2
Hello everyone! Well, summer is certainly here now and it is so nice. We are finally getting some nice sunny days and hot weather. It is supposed to hit about 95F (35C) today and it is staying warm at night too. That part makes it a bit hard living in this apartment. If the nights stay cool, like they have been, then I can keep it cool in here for most of the day.
But nights are warming up so it is getting hot in this apartment too. However, there is the balcony and it is cooler feeling out there. That helps Muffin. We both sit out there in the afternoon. Muffin likes to lie down on that cool, cement floor of the balcony and sleep. I did put something out there for her to lie on, but she prefers the cool cement.

There is a nice breeze coming in the window this morning. There were lots of birds singing out there earlier, but not now, guess they are all out eating now before it gets too hot. There are not even any gulls soaring around this morning. That is unusual, normally there are a lot of them. There is a heavy haze in the air today as well, just caused by the heat.
Sitting beside a lake on a hot summer day is so inviting.
Forest fires are getting to be a problem out west again. It has once again become very dry out west, so there are many fires burning. There are only 11 fires burning in this region, none are close to us, they are all further north. But that can change quickly. None of the fires are large yet either, the biggest is only 120 hectares, which is almost 300 acres.
Or perhaps heading out on the lake by boat.
On days like this it is nice to sit in the shade of a large tree and enjoy everything around you. That could be the flowers in your garden, or perhaps the bees visiting the flowers. It could be the butterflies floating around the flowers, or your yard, or perhaps among the branches of the tree that is providing your shade. It is also great weather for going to the lake and sitting along the shore enjoying the expanse of water before you.
A stroll along a shady forest path is also a great summer activity.
Whether it is a large body of water, or perhaps just a pond. Either way, it is beautiful weather for enjoying the water. And, of course, all the wonderful things that water will bring, in a pond, or lake, or river. All share many of the same things to enjoy, but each of them also has unique things to offer. But whatever we choose, there is much to enjoy during the summer and we should get out, if possible, to enjoy the summer months.
Or sitting beside a river watching the water slowly flow past.
For those of us in the north, summer can be very short. We have had years when there was a very sudden change in the weather about mid August, summer was gone and autumn had begun. Hmm, that’s only about a month away. Well, I hope all of you have a wonderful day and God bless!
