Having looked the other way for weeks, the boss finally called Smith into his office for a sit-down.
“You know, Smith,” he said, “I’ve noticed that every time you have to take your dear old aunt to her doctor’s appointments, there’s a home game over at the stadium.”
“Wow, sir. I guess you’re right,” Smith answered. “I didn’t realize it. You don’t think she’s faking it, do you?”

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday to you as well! It seems they have issued a severe thunderstorm warning for us once again. That weather is supposed to arrive later this afternoon. We already had quite a bit of rain overnight, and now more coming our way. Oh well, these things happen. Muffin used to hide under the bed when thunderstorms came along, but now she likes to cuddle close to me, which is nice.

Here we have a Common Eastern Bumble Bee, coming in to land.

Another Common Eastern Bumble Bee.
Anyway, instead of storms, here are a couple of pictures from my archives of bumble bees going after the delightful nectar of flowers. I hope you enjoy them both. Have a great Sunday and God bless!
