For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
WATCH THOSE MICE!
Β©2018 Stephen McLeod
I was savagely attacked by a man-eating mouse!
The one that lives in the roof of the house.
He growled and snarled and laughed with glee,
And a scratch on the hand he gave to me.
Be careful if you see a cute little mouse,
Leave him and soon he will fill the house.
Mice on the floor, on the counter, in your bed,
Tickling your feet and kicking your head!
Dancing and frolicking all through the night,
Eating your food, everything in sight!
Their numbers will increase more and more,
Until they chase you right out the door!
The featured image at the top is not mine.
Too cute :* π

I wasn’t aware you write poetry. I enjoyed this one, and beautiful rhymes!

I don’t know if I would really call it poetry and was very hesitant to put any on here, but decided to give it a try. Might even add some more yet. Maybe. Thanks so much for your kind words!

You should Steve, I can’t wait to read more of it. To me it’s poetry and none other.
