To My Readers…A Poem.

I know that I haven’t done much reading,

So to everyone I am really pleading,

Forgiveness for this is what I’m needing,

And I will get right back to reading.

I got behind which is really bad,

I want you to know it makes me sad.

I promise to make it better in time,

Which is why I’m writing this rhyme.

I needed to give my eyes a break

All this screen time was keeping me awake.

If I didn’t do it, then for sure,

My eyes, I think, would have no cure.

I’m glad you haven’t left me yet,

You’re all great, that’s a sure bet.

Time to put things back in place

Catching up will be a race!

  1. Oh my oh myπŸ¦‹It was like a symphoni in my ears when I read your poem. I think this was great. I’m impressed that you rhyme. I can’t.
    Thank you for sharing Steve.
I think Muffin is dancing now, because this was so nice.
I hope you have a great day.

    • Wow, thank you so very much Lillian for such a wonderful comment! I think I might try sharing 1 or 2 poems each week, see how it goes anyway. Thanks for your support and inspiration Lillian and I hope you also have a great day!πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ΊπŸŒž

    • It seems that once I get behind it’s impossible to catch up completely, so I decided I will have to skip older ones I missed and stay with the newer ones. Sigh. I guess I’m a slow reader or something.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

      • Well, it is litereally impossible to read everyone’s posts unless you sit in front of the computer all day and do nothing else but read.

I have those I read regularly like yours, Warren’s, Amy’s Kathy’s, Vickie’s, Purple Rose’s, Lillian’s and the rest I will binge read to get caught up. Then the next day it is a different blogger.

      • I have been having problems with typos lately myself, never used to have that problem, guess I’m trying to type too fast these days!πŸ˜‚I never worry about them Stu.
