Daily Pics 2020…#2.

Hello everyone on this second day of the new year!  Usually this time of year is very cold for us, but not so this year.  It’s actually quite mild, cloudy and a little light snow falling gently.  The first week of January is normally in the -30 to -40C range.  So this is actually quite nice.  It takes longer to freeze while standing outside trying to get pictures of the birds.  I say “trying” because the birds are not cooperating much this winter.  And for some reason these birds are camera shy.  I can stand outside quite close to the feeders without my camera and the birds will come down readily.  But, if I have my camera, even if I stand further away, they stay in the trees.  I know why though, I’ll talk about that later.

For now, let’s take a look at some more bright and colorful flowers…

These are actually very large clusters of flowers more than a foot long (more than 30cm). And they grow on top of trees.  Beautiful white flowers.IMG_4424

These are a bright flower that seems to change color, perhaps as it ages.  There was a large hedge of them outside my hotel in Nice.  So nice to dream of those warmer days when there is nothing but cold and snow outside.  I hope you all have a great day and God bless!

      • It was only pics of me that got destroyed, not all my pics. I kept some from when I was a kid, not sure why though.🤔 I hopefully will have some surprises coming up on my blog this month. New stuff. If it works out.🤪😜📷😀😀

      • What🙄 never seen coconut oil 🤔 yeah maybe. You don’t have coconuts over there. You know why our hairs are black and shiny, always coconut oil service 😁 we can’t do it inside, at least doing it outside 🤪

      • It would probably be expensive oil over here.🤔😬I believe you Simon.🙄Have a great Sunday, even if you’re working. I hope everything works good, no problems so you have to stay longer🤔. That wouldn’t be good.😁😸

      • Definitely not good with this climate ☺️ I heard the summers would cross 47C here. I’ll surely melt down 🥺 Coconut if you have coconut trees it is easy to take that oil. Instead of vaseline you can use it during cold and it will look and smell better than vaseline 😉😁 plus a natural moisturizer.😸

      • Too warm for me too Steve. the highest i have felt is 35C and i melted. I burnt my skin..47C is so bad. 😒. I think it’s time for you to bed. Good Night Steve. Enjoy the peaceful night 🥰

      • We have had it as high as 38C in the summer, but that is rare. Our summers used to be much warmer than now. It seldom gets even up to 30 now, usually around 25 to 28. Not warm enough.😂😹🙄Yep, time for bed, I am tired, good night Simon!

      • 38 C is hottest. The place i live doesn’t go below 25C and it doesn’t go above 35C. Oops, no i didn’t tease you. I just said it.😁

      • WOW!!!😲😲 Nice temps!🌞😎🌴 It actually hasn’t gone above 30 here for several years, and it doesn’t normally go below -45C in winter.🥶🥶⛄⛄

      • Did you check what did you just typed. -45C. Are you serious 🙄🤔 This place is sure on this earth? 😒 my god. You should come over here. Try to buy our state 😉

      • Yep, it does get that cold in a normal winter, probably won’t this winter though, looks like it is going to be a mild winter for us.😀😀🙄 We do get mild winters sometimes, haven’t had one in several years though. We did get down to -44 last winter.😲⛄⛄ Much too cold. Very hard to breathe when it’s that cold.😬🥶🥶

      • That’s cruelly cold winter. 🥶 Glad you all had found a way to live peacefully with this kind of weather. A perfect example we can live anywhere ✨

      • Yep, that is true, just need a warm house and good warm clothes. And lots of food. It’s actually amazing that it can be so cold in winter and yet so warm in summer.🤔🤔🙄🙄

      • People kind of get used to it and still go out shopping and doing other things, even when it’s that cold. With the wind factored in it has gotten as cold as -65.😲😲😲 A friend and I went out for a 2km walk at that temp one time. Nearly froze,🥶 but we just wanted to try it.😂🙄
