Male Harris’ sparrow.

Good morning!  How are you this fine Friday morning!  It’s almost the weekend everyone and for some of you, it already is Saturday.  It is starting to warm up a bit again today, although it is a cool start, and by Sunday it should be melting again.  There usually is a bit of up and down weather this time of year, but this year it’s a bit more noticeable than most years.  I don’t mind though, it helps to get rid of a little more snow.  Nothing wrong with that.  I’m looking forward to the time I won’t have to keep mentioning snow.  I know, I don’t need to mention it now either, but it’s hard not to when that’s all I see out my window.  I have started my spring cleaning already.  Mainly because I have to take it slow, and I mean slow.  This is not a big place, it’s small, my bedroom is extra small.  But I divided my bedroom cleaning into 4 sections, I have done 3 of them so far and hope to do the last today.  Then I can start on the living room.

But instead of that, let’s look at some more summer pics instead…

And we’ll start off with these nice and bright yellow flowers from Italy, shared by my friend Ross.  Not sure what they are, but definitely pretty anyway.  The blue flowers below are from her as well and are equally beautiful.IMG_0364

And this bird is from my bird feeder last year, a female rose-breasted grosbeak.  I am really hoping to get a picture of the male this year, but they are a lot more nervous than the females for some reason so it’s hard to get close enough to them.

There’s our look at today’s pics, hopefully you have enjoyed them.  Happy Friday to all of you and God bless!

    • Yes they are! We haven’t had any grosbeaks here this winter either, usually we have either pine or evening grosbeaks. Possible they went further east this year. Happens sometimes, but odd when the natural food supply is so good.
      Thanks, Happy Friday!

  2. God is in everyone and everything,

After the winter, comes the spring,

At this time, the birds would sing ,

Love and light, the divine shall bring ,

The divine is here , there and everywhere,

Dare to believe that life is fair ,

Liberty and justice  we shall  declare ,

Love and light are not rare …
