Good morning everyone! The days keep going past and spring is…well, it’s out there somewhere. I think it’s hiding behind all the snow.😂😹Yesterday turned out to be a nice sunny and mild day. Not mild enough to melt the snow exactly, but it was beautiful anyway. Mama deer and her little one were around in the afternoon while I was outside walking. I got pics of Mama but the little guy just wanted to stay hidden for some reason. Oh well, next time. They haven’t been coming around much during the day lately, just at night. Not sure why they are doing that. So that gave me an idea anyway for a slight change to my daily pics for a couple days.
Therefore, let’s take a look at some mammals, starting with…
Doesn’t that face just make you want to smile? No, the chipmunks are not out yet, these pics are from last spring.
Here’s another pic that should bring a nice smile to your face. And that’s the best way to start any day, with a nice smile that you can take with you all day long. I hope everyone is well today, stay safe with that virus around. Have a great day and God bless!

Thanks Kavita! We have 23 cases in Ontario and 38 total in Canada now. Fortunately it hasn’t made it this far north yet. I hope it doesn’t.

Chipmunks are so cute ! It is a rare event to find one here altho’ most places in MB have chipmunks…we got six inches of snow last night ! It will disappear , hopely, this month…walk carefully outside !🐿🐿🐿😸

You got more snow than us, we only had 3 1/2 inches. Hopefully it will be gone this month.😃😺🐿🐿

They are so adorable 🥰😍 I need to know why they stuff everything inside their mouth 🤔 strange, even their mouth looks like a stuffed balloon they still try 😂😂 which is funny on one side, but cute and strange 😉 Take care Steve, walk carefully, hope you didn’t do Shovel don’t do it ☺️

The chipmunks stuff their cheeks with as much food as they can carry back to their little homes. They are small critters so if they could only carry one peanut that would mean a lot of extra trips for them. It takes them all summer to store enough food to last them all winter. If they didn’t have such big cheeks they would never make it. They can carry usually 3 peanuts, one in each cheek and one in their mouth.😃😺🐿🐿
Me shovel snow? Would I do something like that?🤔🤔🙄🙄
