20/20 Investigations, Inc…Stone House, Chapter 5.

Okay Muffin, this is a diary and listen carefully.  Apparently people who lived here back in the early 1800s found a secret passageway in the house.  One day the man went in to search it and never came back out.  Neighbors got together and searched the passage but never found the man.  Meow, meow!=That mean ghost, we leave, I go pack.  We’re not going anywhere Muffin, but this might be a clue, maybe it’s where JR is hiding.  Stop sighing Muffin.  Meow, meow.=We going to end up as ghosts.  Stop saying that, you might end up scaring yourself.  Meow, meow.=Too late, no “might”, already scared.  Hmm, it says here that the entrance was sealed so no one else would find it.  Meow, meow.=Good, feel better now.  But there is a note added in here, the writing is not very good so it’s hard to read.  It says the entrance was opened again about 100 years later.  Meow.=Rats, feel bad again.IMG_0525

The entrance is right here in the library!  Meow.=It would be.  Let’s take a look around Muffin, maybe we can find that entrance.  Meow, meow.=Have better idea, let’s go eat.  We can eat later, this could be important.  Meow?=Eating not important?  Look at this Muffin, and I pulled back on a book, which wasn’t a real book at all.  The bookcase slid back and then to the side, opening up the passage.  Considering all the dust and cobwebs I don’t see how JR could be hiding back here, but we’ll go in a check around a bit anyway.  Might be spiders in here Muffin.  Meow, meow?=Spiders? What we wait for?  And off she goes ahead of me.  Wait Muffin, and I put her mini headlamp on her and get out my flashlight.  Don’t go far ahead of me, we need to stay together, but first let’s see if I can close this door.  Hmm, an X on the wall, which I push and the bookcase slides back into place.IMG_4101

If someone comes in the house while we are in here, I don’t want them to find out about this passage.  I count off steps as we go and we seem to be at the corner of the house, then it turns left toward the garage.  But just a few steps in and there are stairs going down.  At the bottom the passage turns again and takes us back under the house.  Kind of odd.  After a while we come to stairs going up and at the top a dead end.  Hmm, I look around and sure enough, another X on the wall.  I press the spot and a door slides into the wall and we step out into….our bedroom.  I look and there is a round spot on the panel which I push and the door slides back into place.  Very well done, can’t tell that is a door at all.  But, this really made no sense.  What was the purpose of that little passageway?  Well, we didn’t accomplish anything with that.  Let’s get something to eat Muffin.  Muffin?  Where did she go?IMG_3642

I open the panel door again and call for Muffin.  No answer.  She was right there with me when we got to the end.  I call again, but still no answer.  She was hungry so I went in the kitchen, but she wasn’t there.  Back into the bedroom I go, but the door had closed.  I opened it again and went in all the way back, but no Muffin.  I come back through the passage to the bedroom, but look around carefully, pushing on the walls and floor, but nothing happened.  I pressed that X spot twice…

  5. My god where is she 😱😳 🙄 I’m sure she is smart enough to figure out a way to come out, and what did you saw or get when pressed the x button twice. It could be lot easier if we have ESC button 🤔😜 Fantastic writing Steve ✍️ Stopped at the perfect spot. This kind of writing really helps my 26 days writing challenge 😁. It seems like it is fixed now, fantastic!🥳🤸‍♂️ Oh no, don’t work hard to sleep, relax to sleep, works better.😜🤪😄 And no thinking,🤔 that will keep you awake,😳 must stop thinking before going to bed,😴 move furniture around instead,😜🙄 then you’ll be too tired to think and you can sleep.😴🙄 I think.😂😹🙄

      • Ha ha 😂😂 Not going to do that☺️ Instead I have some romance movies to spend my time now ☺️ Plus I am not writing for more than a week. As I have already scheduled till April 30 😁 but definitely editing work’s are happening.
