Good morning everyone!  I don’t know about you, but Monday disappeared so fast for me.  It was such a nice sunny day again, though going outside quickly got rid of any thoughts that maybe it had warmed up a bit.  It was colder yesterday than previous days.  Oh well, warmer days are on the way.  I think these cooler days must be affecting Muffin, though I’m not really sure how that is possible.  But I do know that she is certainly playful on these cooler days.  I mean, she absolutely flies around this apartment!  Amazing how she can run and jump around so fast without knocking anything down or breaking anything.  I am glad that she doesn’t, but it’s amazing to watch her each morning and then again in the evening.  And sometimes it’s not so much playing as it is just plain running, like this morning.  Wow, was she going, I was wondering when she was going to stop.  But at least she’s enjoying herself, and that’s important, so I really don’t mind at all.

In the above pic is a white throated sparrow looking at me and likely saying to himself, “there’s that guy with his camera again, what does he want anyway?”IMG_4259

And in the above pic is our largest woodpecker, the pileated woodpecker.  Both male and female have the red crest on their heads.  This one is the female.  They are such a beautiful bird.

  1. Great photos of your birdlife. I’m still struggling to take any decent photos of our birds other than the ducks when they potter on the grass.

    • Birds can be hard since they rarely sit still which can make it hard to focus on them. You do very well with your duck pics. I have a hard time getting close enough to the ducks most of the time.

  10. Are you worried about Monday 🤔 I’m worried about my Tuesday and I’m now in Wednesday 🙄 I am traveling fast in time 😕😂 Look at that sparrow looking at you😍 and the woodpecker doing her job so sincerely. Beautiful pictures Steve! Have a beautiful day ✨🤗💐

    • Yep, Wednesday here now too, who cares about Monday and Tuesday? Not me, all gone now.😁 I like when I can get pics of birds looking at me.😳📷 Have several now but always “looking” for more!😂😹 The sun is shining🌞 but the clouds are moving in quickly. Then the rain will begin, which we need. Enjoy your evening Simon!😁😸🌞🌙
