Beauty Free

On the bench, while sitting there,

The river flows, with no care.

Such a scene in front of me,

Beauty fine, that is so free.

Granite rock along the shore,

Trees and shrubs, plus so much more.

Ducks swim past in front of me,

All of this, so truly free.

There a loon calls, oh so near,

And a thrush sings loud and clear.

Sitting ‘neath this tall pine tree,

Where I enjoy, beauty free.

      • Sounds great, but you can keep the rain right now. In some ways it is quite dry here but we don’t need rain yet. This sun and warm weather though is really making things pop!

      • We will likely need some rain soon as well, that ground is drying up fast now that everything is growing good.

    And the clouds emit a lightening spark ,
    Water would nourish us with rain ,
    to bring joy and transcend the pain ,
    All things happen through us to gain ,
    For our balance to regain ,

  13. Beautiful Poem Steve, Feelings and solitude is the best drug for a poem, and I’m in that drug now and written one poem too, recently 😁 I’ve dedicated to my other half waiting for me 800kms far, hope the lockdown ends soon and we can meet each other 😉 Have a beautiful day Steve ✨🤗

      Hey, good for you! Wow, that’s a long distance.😲 Yes, it would be good to have that lockdown end.😄😸 The first phase of easing restrictions here begins today. Stores can open again now but will need to have physical distancing in place for customers,😀 that might be hard for some of the smaller stores.😜 But hopefully it works out.🤔🙄

      • Workouts?🤔 Oops,🤪 I think I may have been forgetting those lately.😳😳 But I’m walking,🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️ that’s a good workout!😁 Hmm, doctor’s offices were not on the list of places that can open.😕 Maybe next time.🤔🙄

      • 😜🤔 walking is a workout, oh yes it is, it is the best Workout of all time. Keep walking Steve ✨🤗 doctors offices not open 😳 how strange, then where people would go of they are sick🤔 we can’t ask them to go grocery store or a beauty salon when they are sick😜😂 It’s same here too, hospitals are closed. I hope the government comes with a better idea for sick people. ✨

      • Here if someone is sick they go to the ER at the hospital.🤪😳 That spot is closed off from the rest of the hospital now to make sure no sickness spreads.😬 But waiting time to see a doctor at the ER is now 9 to 12 hours!!😳😳😳🤪🤪

      • For real 12 hours is no Joke 🙄😳 very sad for the people that has to go hospitals frequently, I wish they include hospitals in the opening list soon!
