No Complaints. A Fun Poem.

Little chipmunk, never slow,

In my pocket, there you go.

Grab some peanuts and away,

To your home and back today.

Dawn till dusk you’re at it too,

Without a rest, this you do.

No complaints, just keep right on,

Working hard till day is gone.

Then it comes some sunny day,

When you really want to play.

Up and down my leg you run,

I pick you up, oh, such fun!

Then to work you start again,

But you never do complain.

  1. We do not have chipmunks here so I am glad you shared this delightful poem and the pic too! β˜•οΈβ˜•οΈπŸΏπŸ₯œπŸ₯œπŸ˜€β€ΌοΈ

    • Yes, it is a lot easier for my chipmunks. The chipmunks out in the wild must forage a long ways from home to gather enough food for the winter.
      Thanks Ribana!πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ΊπŸŒžπŸΏπŸΏ

    • Thank you so much Ramyani!
Sometimes it’s hard to tell if I’m getting better or not, this Covid-19 really knocked me down.
      Muffin is doing fine though.
Hope you have a wonderful week!πŸ˜€πŸ˜ΊπŸŒž

    • Thanks so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it! That was my little friend Skamper I was writing about, he is the most friendly of all the chipmunks and seems to enjoy getting a ride on my hand!😁🐿
