Summer Night. A Poem.

Summer nights, so bright they are,

And filled with pleasure near and far.

The sights and sounds, both abound,

And they fill the air all around.

Crickets chirp with all their might,

And frogs are singing through the night.

Owls, while sitting in a tree,

Are always calling loud and free.

Moon so bright shines on the lake,

Reflected beauty it does make.

Now the loon’s long lonely call

Across the water, heard by all.

Nighthawks swoop, and turn around,

Oh, such delights which can be found.

And fireflies dance so bright,

Showing all, ’tis a summer night.

  2. ” Row row , row your boat,
    Gently down the stream,
    Merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream …”

Go and look what a scene ,
To stay humble and keen ,
    Allow love and grace ,
    to rule and reign ,
Wherever you areΒ  and been ,
There could beΒ  more than what it is seenΒ  …
Sometimes , this what life couldΒ  mean ,
