Fresh Snow, A Poem.

Fresh Snow

Looking out my cabin window,

At all these falling flakes of snow,

I stand here gazing all around,

While snow soon covers all the ground.

So many little birds I see

There, on the ground, beneath the tree.

They’re taking shelter from the snow,

And soon, to the south, they will go.

Now while looking out my window

At all those puffy mounds of snow,

I see such beauty fill my sight,

A landscape full of freshest white.

    • Yes, I do admit, it does look beautiful, ❄❄except for the cold part. Staying warm is the hard part!🥶 Yep, some of my birds just might end up in your yard. Good morning Renee!😀😺🌞☕☕

      • Because snow is really just frozen water molecules which produce that whitish look and looks very white when lots of those snowflakes get together. So white in fact that it can blind people on a sunny day.

      • We call it blind when it’s dark isn’t it 😎🤔 white can also blind? 🤔🙄 now I have a question, does all the blind see white or black ? 🤨🙄🧐 I’m asking too much , I knew, definitely not got hit in the head.😅

      • Yep, it’s called snow blindness. Basically it’s the brightness of the sun being magnified off the snow that becomes so bright it can make someone blind. Which then turns black. So white becomes black.🤔😳🙀
