Steve’s Bird Of The Day #2.

Hi everyone! Here we are with the second photo in our new series. And, as I mentioned, I won’t be saying much, except to let you know this is a male pine grosbeak, a winter visitor from the far north. They are our largest grosbeak and a real beauty to have at the bird feeder. I hope you enjoy this one, the bird of the day will return on Monday, have a wonderful weekend and God bless!

    • That’s so true, but these birds go all the way up to the tree line, on the border with tundra. It’s cold up there even in the summer. Their breeding area starts about 200 miles north of us.😁
