Steve’s Bird Of The Day #3.

Hello everyone! Here we have our third bird in our new series. This is the male common redpoll, a visitor from the far north, up in the tundra regions and onto the northern islands of the Arctic Ocean. Some will even spend the winters where the tundra and scrub trees meet. They are a friendly member of the finch family and are just a bit smaller than a chickadee, and they are easily attracted to feeders.

  1. What a pretty little bird! I imagine birds that are conducive to certain climates are built to handle the temperatures. Have a great day and give Muffin some hugs from Callie. 😻😻☕️☕️
