For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hi again everyone! I hope you are having a good day. Here we have a relative of the bird we looked at yesterday. Today it’s the cedar waxwing, and this is a summer version of the Bohemian waxwing. It is smaller and the color is slightly different. They are usually one of the last of our summer birds to arrive, normally in late May, and they head back south by early September. They will on occasion stay the winter and will mix with the Bohemian waxwing flocks. These birds love to eat the petals of flowering trees and shrubs. I hope you have a wonderful day and God bless!

I’ve always thought these guys are like the Vogue fashion of birds. They’re just so sleek and unique looking. Excellent bird of the day.
