For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning everyone! Help yourself to some coffee and join us for a few minutes. The sky is a wonderful blue this morning, the sun is shining brightly on the trees giving them a real golden look. The birds are out early today, with Theresa the wild turkey being here first once again, though not by much. The chickadees were singing so nicely and two of them were chasing each other through the branches of the trees and shrubs. Either fighting over a female or establishing who is top chickadee around here. Yes, chickadees do establish rank among themselves. Baxter and Betty, the blue jays, came flying in side by side and landed on a branch exactly at the same time beside each other, about 2 inches (5cm) apart. But Baxter moved in closer until they were touching each other and Betty put her head next to Baxter’s.
I have watched birds for a long time now and that is something I have never seen before. But it was something just momentary, no time to get a picture of it. Besides, I was inside by that time or I would have at least taken a pic of them sitting side by side. That I have seen before but this is the first time since getting my camera 3 years ago. Unfortunately as I was heading out the door I noticed they had already flown away. Some of these things you just have to be already in the right spot to get the pic, because the moment just does not last long. Spring. Such a nice time of the year. So much happening. Warmer weather. Melting snow, and there isn’t much left to melt now. Migrating birds.
Yesterday was bald eagle migration day it seems. They were really coming in all afternoon, dozens of them flying overhead, some high, some just over the treetops. It was a beautiful sight, none wanted to stop though, this was migration, time to get to their summer breeding territory. Ravens have moved out of town, mostly anyway, because the crows are now back and have taken over the town again. In winter it’s the ravens in town. However, when the ring-billed gulls return, they really take over the town, at the parts of town where the food is located. Mainly that means places that sell french fries, their favorite summer food provided by people. Spring. Warm. Singing of birds. Jasper and the chipmunks. Spending time at the river. Hmm, I need to check that path again, perhaps tomorrow, it’s supposed to be a very nice day. Have a wonderful day everyone and God bless!

No matter how long seems the darkness of the night,
The sun would be definitely shining bring ,
Not so far from our sight , things in peace are all right.
The love of God is in everyone and everything,
after autumn and the winter ,
Shall come the spring ,
Birds always travel and sing ,
Unlimited blessings would they bring ,
God requires from us nothing,
Except to spread the light and allow love to brighten and spring …
( we shall all people on earth fill ourselves with love , forgiveness and light to allow the spirit of the divine to flow and shine through us ) .

Do you believe in telepathy or telekinesis?
Believe it or not , I was just thinking about the migration of birds in the
change of seasons where we see flocks of birds , hawks or other birds in the sky…
I was just thinking about squirrels as well …

I don’t believe in either one. That’s interesting that you were thinking of these things. Nature is always good for us, whether we are able to go out in nature or even think about it. It helps to reduce stress and all types of anxiety. Have a great day Wael!ππΈπ

It helps that this is a smaller town carved out of the wilderness really. Plus I live on the edge of town which brings more wildlife around. We are very literally surrounded by hundreds of km of wilderness. Have a great evening Sheree!ππΊββππ

I missed your morning coffee, but no worries since it’s too late for caffeine now. Your description of the migrating bald eagles must be something to see. Once in awhile I see an eagle at a nature park, and an osprey nesting pair should be arriving soon.

Yes, it’s nice to watch the eagles coming in like that. There is always one day that is their main day, always in March. I can sit on my deck and count dozens coming in every hour. This year was the most in several years. Too bad it’s never the same day each year, but always around mid March. Northern Ontario has more breeding pairs of eagles per square mile than anywhere else in N.America.

Wow, raking already, still snow on the ground here, about half and half right now, but the snow isn’t deep. I need to check the path to the river one of these days. But I won’t go any further than it’s safe to do so. Have a great day!ππΊββππ·
