Hello everyone and welcome back to our wildflower series! Today’s wildflower is the “swamp smartweed”, the terrestrial form. There is also an aquatic form of this wildflower. But this one lives on land, usually near water or wet areas, such as lakes, rivers and streams. The flower spike of beautiful pink flowers can be anywhere from 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10cm) long and the plant can grow from 1 to 3 feet (30 to 90cm) tall. It generally blooms from June to September, though in our area it’s usually late June to early August. They generally are found in sunny to partially shaded areas. It is found right across Canada and throughout most of the US. Bees and butterflies like these flowers. I hope you have a wonderful day and God bless!

That’s not good. I’m having a lot of problems with mine these days too, keeps going off several times a day. They just tell me it’s because of heavy traffic on the internet these days. Sigh.

Wow, that’s a long 8 hours! That’s sad when they do that to people. One problem we have is lack of competition. Up here in the north there is only 1 provider, so they don’t have to rush with fixing problems.😕
