Steve and Muffin’s Wildflowers #46.
Hello and welcome back to another week of wildflowers! Today’s wildflower is the “Virgin’s Bower”. This is a native woody vine that grows from 6 to 20 feet in length and is actually a wild clematis. It has clusters of up to 30 white flowers with four petal like sepals that are about 1 inch (2.5cm) across. They are very attractive to grow in a garden and adapt well to many different types of soil. And in our climate they are ideal instead of the typical garden hybrid varieties that can be hard to grow in the north. It likes sun or partial shady areas and will grow most anywhere. It blooms from July to August, though here it often starts the last half of June. There are both male and female flowers. In Canada they are found from Manitoba to the east coast and in the US from N.D. to Texas and to the east coast. Have a wonderful day everyone and God bless!

Wives are allowed to do that! You get up and make her breakfast in bed. Well, don’t make it in bed, make it in the kitchen, bring it to her in bed.😳😂😂🤣🤣☕☕

Do you still have long twilight in summer before twilight start to have a shorter duration of time ?

Yes, our twilight is still just as long, it doesn’t really get much shorter until September.
