Yeah, me too, as it turned out. I spend more time looking for things than I do actually doing what it was I wanted to do if I could find what it was I couldn’t find and at one point I forgot what it was I was looking for in the first place because it was taking me so long to find it which I didn’t do anyway and instead just wasted an hour and a half basically doing nothing which is probably why I couldn’t nap.😳 SIGH!🙄🙄

The southern part of our province has had about 2 feet so far. But they are affected by the Great Lakes, which are not frozen. That gives a lot of moisture to the cold air. We are not affected by them here.

We normally get about 5 to 6 feet each winter, but last year we didn’t get much, maybe 2 feet at the most.

That drives the frost very deep when you get bitter cold and minimal snow.. frozen pipes and drains soon follow!! I hope you get a little more snow to help prevent that !

Yes, that is very true. With all the rock around here, most pipes are not very deep, so they freeze easily without enough snow cover. We are in an area of town that has a lot of problems that way, so the town asks us to keep water running all winter and they give us a break in the water and sewer rates.

That’s great that they do that!! I have a neighbor that used to need to do that because the waterline wasn’t buried deep enough, many years ago. They repaved the street this year and he finally was able to get it deeper! But he didn’t get any breaks on his.. 4 to 5 hundred a month in the winter!!😳😳

Wow, that’s a lot. I guess our town figures it’s better to give the breaks on water, than to thaw pipes all winter.

You would think they would the same here, but they just keep raising the price and forcing people fix things on their own here. We have two lakes in town!! You would think we could afford cheaper water!!😂😂

I was, until I slipped on the ice out on the deck this morning. It was 40 yesterday, just enough to turn the snow into ice when it froze last night. I was even being careful, didn’t help though.😕🤕

I took all of next week off of work. My partner who likes to take time off without telling before has been off since Monday and won’t be back until Thursday now is getting to me a little. It’s not fair to dump his stuff on me… So I returned the favor! Besides in a few weeks I’ll get the last laugh 😃 😂😂🤭🤭

It could be during that first week. I am working one thing which would allow me to stay employed while being down south. My Doctors idea actually.. I’m waiting for a form from HR. Then I file for my Social Security which takes about 3 months. Then I get more stock vested while I’m working..

Nope, they’re just renting, but not paying rent. He’s a carpenter and will be renovating the place in return for free rent. My new landlord will still have to pay for the materials though, but it’s a good deal for them both. Hopefully.

Um, no, nothing actually. I went out to the garage to get something of mine before the changeover of ownership and the garage door wouldn’t close. That took all of my afternoon getting that to work. Now my back is so sore I can barely move. Sigh. Only me.

I had a very strange thought cross my mind this morning when I woke up. There is a friend I used to work with years ago, I always felt that I didn’t know the whole story of why they were with the company and what their job really was. It occurred to me that perhaps they were hired to investigate something without anyone else knowing. Kinda like your story… undercover work so to speak… I could be way off but something about it clicked in my mind… Maybe it’s because I’m getting better sleep?? Anyway that’s my weirdo moment for today!! LOL 😂😂🤣🤣

Hey, guess what, you may not be far off. It actually happens in companies. They hire private investigators to find problems within the company, maybe money missing periodically, or plans for products ending up in competitors hands. It really does happen.🤔😬😬😳😳

Yes it does!! The security measures we have with this company is unlike anything I have ever seen. In order to access our ERP tool I have to be on a VPN at the office… so yes I believe it..

Yeah, it makes it difficult to get work done when the applications automatically log you out if it’s more than a few minutes since you used it. Then you have to go through the whole login procedure again. But I guess it’s necessary..

Pretty much… I need to wait another week to make sure I get my vested stocks and bonus for this year. That all happens after the 17th. It was the Executives.. My manager and his boss were open to it, but the so called leadership that doesn’t have a clue how and who makes it all happen without incident… My manager is concerned… When I go that will leave only one person to do the work of two.. I hope he doesn’t plan on a vacation in 2022! 😂😂😂

Well… I don’t think they’ll be able to shut down for him. The contracts we support won’t allow it. He may get a day or two at a time. They are not going to backfill my position I don’t believe.

I am considering seeing a disability attorney. See if it would be worth trying to apply for Social Security Disability until I reach full retirement in 4 years.

It won’t change much for me… Other than leaving a sizeable amount of stocks unvested, but they aren’t mine until they vest and if I were fired or laid off I wouldn’t get them either, so I can’t really worry too much about it.

I was busy?🤔 Busily getting frustrated perhaps.😂😂 I think I did something else too,🤔 oh yeah, I swept my floors. Not too exciting though, but needs to be done.🙄
