Baldwin ordered one of his helicopters to pick him up. “I’m taking you and MC back with me,” he said to Kat. “No, I can stay and help,” said Kat. She tried to get up and managed it but with difficulty. “No Kat,” said Baldwin, “you are coming back, you know that is what Steve would want, so there will be no arguing. We all agreed to listen to the one in charge, which is me right now.”

“Yes, you are right,” she said, very tired. Meow,meow.=You listen to human Baldwin, and Chung, rest and get better. Meow.=I do that. You be very careful, want you come back later. Then they touched noses. Rock carried her out to the helicopter and Baldwin carried MC. The others went along out to the helicopter to protect them and make sure they got away okay.

Meanwhile… “See? Some of them are leaving now,” said the man, “and the others will leave soon.” “I sure hope so,” said the woman, “I really do not like having them around. Are those pictures ready yet?” “Yes,” said the man, “I will have them delivered right away.” Everyone had gathered back in the main bedroom to make plans. Jennifer was in charge now. There was a knock at the door. It was Stewart. “I found this envelope on the table by the front door,” he said, “it is for you.”

Jennifer took it from him and he left. “Interesting how he always manages to be in the right place,” said Carine. “Yes, and he is not at all afraid,” added Candace. “I have been thinking about that too,” said Jennifer, “do you know anything about Stewart, Elsa?” “Not much, he keeps to himself mostly,” she said, “he barely talks to anyone, he is kind of creepy.” “He is a very formal type butler,” said Carine, “but he does seem suspicious somehow.” Jennifer was just quiet and staring at the contents of the envelope.

“Wow, a 3 page note this time,” said Annelie, “what does it say?” She handed two of the pics to Annelie. “This one is just for you Rock,” she said quietly and handed him the third picture. Rock was ready to tear the castle apart after seeing the picture. Everyone got to see the other two pictures. “They certainly like beating people,” said Kara angrily. “They will pay for messing with us,” said Jennifer firmly, “that is five of us now, so I guess it must be our turn.”

Meow,meow.=MC say he woke up at top of stairs and come back here, maybe secret door there. “Let’s check that out,” said Jennifer. They went to the spot and Muffin sniffed around. I smell same air like at other spot, door must be here. Rock ripped some boards off the wall and sure enough there was a door but it must be locked on the inside. “It must open inward,” said Rock and he leaned on the door a bit. Then he really crashed himself against it and it flew open.

“A very narrow passage,” said Rock, “hard for a guy like me to walk around in there.” “Okay, Rock, Annelie, Carine and Kara, you stay behind for now and look around,” said Jennifer, “get Harris and see if he can add some information about this place and about Stewart. Then talk to Stewart about Harris. And keep Elsa with you at all times. The rest of us will try to follow the passage and see where it leads.” “Be careful,” said Annelie, “these people do not play fair.”

“We will be careful and we will send a signal every 10 minutes,” said Jenny. Then Jennifer, Angel, Candace and Muffin went into the dark passage. Muffin was in the lead, then Jenny with a flashlight. “Okay, let’s see if we can find Harris,” said Rock. That turned out to be easy, he was in the kitchen having some more tea. Stewart had apparently gone back to his room. Harris had been here the longest, but all of them have been here since before the McMasters bought the place.

“Stewart is a funny sort of guy, but I would say he is honest enough,” said Harris, “though I cannot understand why he is not afraid.” He took a sip of his tea, then suddenly looked up. “I just remembered something,” he said, “Darren had found a secret room about 3 months ago and said that would be a great place to hide if he ever needed to. The way he said it sounded like he was expecting to need a hiding place.” “Do you know where it is?”, asked Rock. “He would not tell me, but I spotted him going there one time,” said Harris, “follow me.” Meanwhile…

  1. They should know better than to go off chasing the bad guys seperately!separately!! What if Jenny and her crew need help? What if Rock needs help?? I don’t like this one bit!!🤨🤨

  2. Continue on with the story…Muffin and MC need to be with you…watch out for the “ new “ people around you ! But I believe that one or two people amongst your team are up to no good ! 🕵️‍♂️👩👩👩👩😼😼

    • MC had to go back, he was hurt too much, just like Kat. Yes, I’m sure the team is watching the servants close, hard to say how much they can be trusted. But my team is okay, no problems there. They just need to find Kristina and I quickly!😬😾🙁
