Things were not going very well with our team. Kat and MC went back home with Baldwin to get medical attention. Baldwin did not think he would be much help here so was better off coordinating things from back home. That is the way we had things set up already, he is never really meant to be on an actual case, if people found out who he really is, it would be much too dangerous.
Kristina and I are still chained together in what looks like the castles dungeon. Kara has gone missing. Jennifer has gone missing. Annelie, Rock, Carine, along with Elsa and Harris, are trapped in an underground room. Muffin, Candace and Angel are still free and looking for the rest of us, though none of us knows what is going on with the others at the moment.
Meanwhile… “Hey, Steve’s alarm signal is coming through nice and clear,” said Angel. Meow, meow.=Yep, my human not far away. “He must be in one of the rooms along this corridor, or down a side corridor, but not far, that’s for sure,” said Candace, “let’s keep going down this way, and stay alert.” “No need to tell me that,” said Angel, “anything could be a trap along here.”
Meanwhile… “I’ll send a couple men to pick up that other woman,” said the man. “We should just kill them and be rid of them,” said the woman. “Not yet,” he said, “we use them for bait right now and get them all together first, then we turn on the gas in that dungeon.” “We should have gotten more money too, before coming here,” said the woman, “we don’t have enough men working for us.” “We will soon have more money than we know what to do with,” said the man. “Ha!,” said the woman, “I know what to do with it!”
Jennifer had fallen through a trap door in the floor when those doors trapped her. She fell quite a distance to a stone floor below in a dark room with a heavy wooden door. She lay motionless after hitting her head in the fall. Two men came in with large flashlights. “You take her legs,” said one man. As the man bent down to grab her legs she moved quickly smashing her knee into his face, then swirling around to kick him hard on his knee. She then grabbed one of the other mans legs, twisting it and throwing him to the floor.
He quickly got up, but Jenny was already on her feet and gave him a hard kick to his head and he fell limp to the floor. The other man pulled a gun but she kicked him in the stomach, then to the head sending him against the wall and down to the floor. She picked up both their guns and went into the corridor. There were stairs going up. Then she noticed the signal from me and realized I was up those stairs. Then she sent a signal to the others to let them know she was okay.
Meanwhile… “A signal from Steve,” said Annelie, “that means he is still alive anyway.” “But we are stuck in here and can’t help him,” said Rock. They looked around but could not see any other doorway possible out of that room. “Hey, now a signal from Jennifer,” said Annelie, “but she is alone now, that is not good.” “They better not hurt those girls, or Muffin,” said Rock angrily. They kept searching for a way out. Poor Carine, one thing that terrifies her are spiders, and they found several in that room, rather large ones.
“Don’t worry Carine,” said Rock, “I don’t like them either.” She smiled, not knowing if Rock was telling the truth or just trying to make her feel better. “I don’t know if you tell the truth or not,” said Carine, “but I thank you anyway.” “Hey, I am telling the truth,” he said, “honest!” Suddenly part of the wall opened and Stewart was standing there. “Come, quickly,” he said. They were not quite sure what to think, but it was better than staying in this room.
Rock went first, then the others with Harris last. There was a stairway going up. “Push that blue stone at the top,” said Stewart who was now last in line. Rock did so and another door opened to the living room. It was behind a large bookcase. “I have know about this for a long time,” said Stewart, “there are hidden doors and corridors all over this castle. But it is dangerous to walk around, there are traps in places down there, that is why my left leg is so stiff. I was walking around down there a few years ago and was hit on my knee by a large hammer.”
“Why did you not say anything about those hidden passages before?”, asked Annelie. “I did not want anyone walking around down there,” he said, “there are many legends to this castle, I have read them all, there is a book here that tells all about them.” He pulled a book off the shelf. It is 8am.
