Sunny Sunday! #13
Good morning to everyone! Oh my, it is a cold morning! But we will not talk about that. Really, it should not be so cold this time of the year, it should be much milder than this. So we will not talk about this. It was a nice sunny day yesterday, but it sure did not warm up much, not even inside, so my heater was on constantly throughout the day. It is just too cold. But we will not talk about it. I mean, I was shivering sitting in my chair writing yesterday.
That should not happen when the sun is shining. But it is just cold. So we will not talk about it. The days are getting nice and long though. It is daylight until 8pm now, and it is starting to get daylight at 6am. So nice indeed. I like the longer days, they make a person feel so much better and give me so much more energy…well, maybe we should skip the energy part. Longer days did give me more energy at one time, but it does not seem to work quite so well anymore.
Still, it does give that desire to get at doing things. Which makes spring cleaning easier than fall cleaning. Muffin was helping me this week. She would reach way under the furniture and pull out the dust dinosaurs. No kidding, she really did do this and she kept it up for quite a while. Then she got bored and started swishing the dust around with her tail and right into my face. That of course would make me sneeze.
Which made her run. Then while I was on my stomach reaching under things I could not move, she would come and sit on my back. Which meant I could not move. She always does that. Every time we clean together anyway. So I grab the handle on a drawer to help pull myself up. That drawer slides easily. Whack! AAAAAA! Hit my nose. But the scream caused Muffin to jump off my back. So I got up quickly. Well, quick for me anyway. There was more cleaning fun, but I will leave it at that for today. I hope you have a sunny Sunday and God bless!

It is colder than normal down here as well. I wanted to get at my greehouse, but it was miserable outside.

Hi Nancy! Maybe you should try a whitehouse instead! The snow here is frozen enough to walk on top easily now. Hey, those dust dinos are nearly big enough to lift my furniture off the floor now! Have a great week!😊😻🐈⬛🌞🌙❄️❄️

We’ve got a couple of nights below freezing as well. “In like a lamb, out like a lion; in like a lion, out like a lamb” tells the truth about March!
Have to cover the newly planted azaleas and hope they make it.

Well, it will be a long time before flowers show up here, about 6 weeks or more yet. But when it starts, it comes along fast. Good night now!😊😻🌙😴😴

It’s a bad cold when the spring is nearby. Hopefully the spring will be hotter as much cold it gave. let’s.hope 🙌. You both cleaning together? i foreseen a mess 🤣😂 Muffin must have enjoyed swishing the dust with her tails and sitting in your back. Yes, it would be nice if spring would be hotter than normal, but the forecast now is for colder than normal right to the end of May! Muffin and I do have our fun cleaning, she really enjoys helping.🐈⬛😼😼 Until I start sneezing too much!🤧😮 It was a great Sunday, even though I didn’t get to relax as much as I wanted. But I enjoyed the day, so that’s the main thing!😁 Have a great Monday Simon!😊😻🌞🌙

Oh, a mask, yes, that is a good idea, I will try to remember that. We may not really get much of a spring this year, some years we just kind of go from winter to summer real fast. Enjoy your day Simon!😁🌞😻❄️❄️

March is such an iffy month for the weather! I’m glad it is almost over and we’re seeing more signs of spring. We just had a family of doves move into one of our hanging plants. They are building a nest for the arrival of their babies. We had this happen about 3 years ago and it was delightful to watch the babies learn how to fly. Callie sits on the window sill mesmerized by all of the action! 🙀🌺🌞☕️☕️

How nice to have the doves building their nest so close like that so you can watch them! I imagine that would keep Callie entertained for long periods! I’m looking forward to April, although April can be an iffy month for us too. A little more snow coming our way tomorrow night but at least temps will be in the 30s from now on, though still freezing at night unfortunately.😊😻🌞❄️❄️☕☕
