For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hi everyone!
I have not been showing enough blue jays lately so I chose one from last fall to share in our photo of the week series. They are just such a beautiful bird to watch. I am sure I must have hundreds of photos of blue jays, mostly Betty and Baxter. This photo is Baxter once again. Have a great day and God bless!

They are beautiful. But they can be bossy!

Yes, that is so true. They always were a big problem at the feeder until I started giving them peanuts. They are also good protection for the smaller birds, especially in winter they will keep the shrikes away from the area. That’s why I missed them so much this winter. Have a great day!ππΊβββοΈβοΈ

Blue jays are one of my favorite birds. You can clearly see the resemblance between these them and the Toronto Blue Jays mascot π

Yes, mine too. Of course blue is my favorite color too. They did choose a good bird to use, blue jays are a very determined bird.π

Wow, haven’t seen any robins here, which is good, they would never find food in all this snow.π¬
