Insects. #6

Hi everyone!

I did not realize it has been 2 weeks since our last look at insects, so here we are again. Today we have the “Sinuous Bee Fly”. This is not a bee though they act a lot like them. They are terrific flying insects that can dart away suddenly. They also hover over flowers. They eat nectar from flowers and can be found commonly from May to August. I showed a different bee fly in an earlier post, there are a lot of different species. Have a great day everyone and God bless!
