Nature’s Beauty. #11

Hi everyone and Happy Sunday!

While walking to the river there was a white spruce that had been knocked over in one of our storms. And it was full of cones at the top! There are a lot of these cones on the tree, nice and big, that should make some squirrel nice and happy. The cones are nice and big and have a purplish color to them so I thought they would make a nice addition to our nature’s beauty series. Beauty can be found in so many places in nature and in so many different ways. Have a great day everyone and God bless!

Those cones almost look like succulents!

Those cones would indeed make the squirrels happy ! Do chipmunks eat these cones ? Have a great day ! 🙂😻

  I don’t think they do, but normally the cones are up high and chipmunks generally stay on the ground or close to it anyway.😊😻🐿️🐿️

I thought these were black maggots 🤣🤣🤣 what is this? Fruit? Looks large and scary like a stone🤔😁😃 Have a lovely Sunday with Muffin💝

  Eeeek! These are cones from a spruce tree, inside are seeds for a whole forest of trees! Also breakfast for some hungry squirrel!😂😹
