Good morning to all of you! Well, it is definitely a wet morning here. Basically there is just one thunderstorm after another hitting us. Mostly lots of lightning and thunder, with steady rain that gets heavy at times. Severe thunderstorms are forecast for us all day today. So I guess there will not be any outdoor time for pictures today.
Oh well, I could use the time for dusting my apartment, except it is so dark in here I cannot really see the dust. So much for that idea. However, there are other things that need to be done, like putting casters on my TV cabinet. I have casters on nearly all my furniture, makes it so much easier to move things around when necessary for cleaning or just rearranging the furniture. Which I would like to do.
Perhaps in the fall when they put new windows in here. It is very muggy this morning. There is only a light rain at the moment, but more thunder is coming so that means more rain, heavier rain that is. Jasper was out here this morning, rather wet looking. He was happy for the peanuts I gave him. I have only seen one chipmunk, and that was quite early.
I just spotted him as he was leaving but I think it was Skamper. On Friday, after picking up a shopping bag full of medicine, I took some pictures of the lake which I am sharing today. It was a much nicer day. Usually I show pictures of the river, but this time it is the lake and all the trees in the background are on islands, not the mainland.
I am going to try and get more lake pictures in different locations which I can share with you. It really is a beautiful place to live, in the summer anyway. And if you enjoy winter, lots of snow and freezing in temps of -30 to -40, then it is a good place to live in winter too. I enjoy the summer portion better, which includes spring, summer, and fall, making up about 6 months of the year.
I was hoping to get another walk to the river this week but right now the forecast for the week is not so good. Oh well, might have to wait until next week. Although Friday might be a possibility. There will likely be a lot of mosquitoes again after all this rain. But perhaps there will be more dragonflies too. That would be nice. Well, I hope you all have a wonderful day and God bless!

Dry out with all this rain we’re getting? Rain, rain, rain, never quits! Well, okay, it stopped for about 3 hours. But wow, sure has been raining and storming since!😮😬⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️🙀

That would normally be the normality, but, we have La Nina around still and will be around for next winter too. So they are saying next winter could be a repeat of last winter! Not good at all.😬😬🙀🙀🙄
