Hello once again on this beautiful, sunny Sunday!
On my last walk to the river there were a lot of asters blooming in different places along the path. There were at least 3 different species of them too which was nice to see. These ones today are the “Arrow-leaved Aster”, which is one of our more common asters. They can be found along open wooded areas, trails, and roadsides. Basically most anywhere that is mainly sunny. They are a beautiful and cheery fall flower which are enjoyed by bees, butterflies and flower flies. They are very hardy and continue blooming late into the fall. So that is what an aster looks like ! Cute flowers…we have them in our back yard , but never knew what kind it was…thanks for sharing ! 🙂😻

There are quite a few varieties of asters around, this is one of the more common ones in our area. I always enjoy when they begin to bloom. There are also white varieties too.😁🌞📷

Yep, this year they are quite common all over. I really do like these flowers, they can often be seen blooming right up until winter arrives.😊😻🌞🌺🌼

Winter almost there right? Or u still have time for that. Until then we have good stock of pictures 😉
