Hi Sheree! It’s a good sized lake at about 4400 square km in size. The shoreline, not including islands is 40,234 km. There are 14,552 islands. It gives our town its own micro climate, making us a bit warmer than the surrounding area during summer and fall.

I like how the moon is poking through the sky in your photo, Steve! There is something very tranquil and calming about early mornings. I woke up at 3:18 AM this morning which is crazy, I know. I look outside my window and it’s pitch black outside, but I love sunrises. I get to see them because sunrise is around the same time that I take my daughter to the bus stop.

Wow, that is early, even for me! Yes, mornings are definitely tranquil, I just love a nice early morning and watching the sun rise. I can see the sunrise now better than in the summer, but soon it will be behind this hill out here again. That moon photo is looking west from my deck, or perhaps a bit southwest. I enjoy watching the moon going through it’s phases and I now have nice photos of it all the way from it’s first sliver of a smile to full moon and back again. I do love nature in all it’s different forms. There is just so much beauty to see. Thank you Saba, and much blessings to you as well. 😊😻🍂🍁🌙🌞
