Steve and Muffin’s Year End Pics! #2

Good morning everyone! It is another cold day out there, but this photo reminds us of some warmer spring days when this male Ruby-throated Hummingbird came back from the south to spend another summer with us. It did not take him long to find the hummingbird feeder either and he began using it frequently. I really enjoy getting pictures of their wings, like this one as he came in to land on the perch. Have a great day everyone and God bless!

  1. Thanx for sending us a beautiful snow at last! I assume it came from you Canadians although the fear mongers won’t let us call it a snowstorm anymore. NOW, it is a (oh, the horror!!) a BOMB CYCLONE!!! Be afraid, be very, VERY afraid. πŸ™„

    • Hmm, we just call it a snowstorm, or blizzard if the temperature is right, which it would be this time. Actually, I think the storm originated in Colorado, but sucked cold air in from up here. However, the cold air came from Siberia this time. They finally figured out how to blow it over here! πŸ€”πŸ˜‚πŸ˜Ήβ„οΈβ„οΈπŸ₯Άβ›„
