Hi everyone! Happy Sunday to all of you!
Well, today’s pic shows a large white pine tree growing right on top of solid granite rock, no soil there at all, just a few pine needles covering the rock with a single layer. The roots are the fantastic part though, nice and large and spreading in every direction finding ways to hold that big tree in place. Some of the roots are 14 inches (35cm) across. These oddities in nature are bountiful beauty indeed! Have a wonderful day everyone and God bless!

I really enjoy this tree, such large roots and going in every direction. There is no soil on that rock yet there stands a large healthy tree, well anchored. Enjoy your Sunday and God bless!

Yep, it is well rooted far and wide all around that tree. There is not a bit of soil on that rock either and it really is very healthy. Sleep well tonight!😊😻🌞🌛😴
