For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Hello everyone! It was such a beautiful morning with a deep blue sky, the sun shining brightly and it was nice and warm. That has changed now. It is now cloudy and raining, rather big drops of rain, but not exactly a heavy downpour. Hmm, it is actually slowing to a stop now. Nice.

Above we have a Hollyhock flower. Just look at the beautiful pattern on the petals.
It did make for some nice fresh smelling air coming in the windows at the moment. I love that fresh smell after a shower, a real part of summer country pleasures. As I mentioned last week, Thursday will be mostly a picture post for the summer, sharing some beautiful country pleasures of different kinds. Summer is the time for beautiful flowers, at least in our climate.

And above we have a nice, sunny Marigold, being enjoyed by a Bumble Bee. A 2 in 1 country pleasure.
You will not find flowers in the winter around here, except indoors. But outdoors flowers abound in every shape and color possible. So I will share two today, both in their own way being a true country pleasure. Have a wonderful day everyone and God bless!
