Country Pleasures! #4
Hello once again everyone on this sunny Sunday! It was actually quite nice yesterday, mainly sunny and no rain for a change. It was smoky however and that is supposed to continue today and into tomorrow as well. One of my favorite country pleasures is enjoying time beside the river or a lake, and we certainly have lots of both in this part of the country.
I used to drive out of town quite frequently to spend time by one of the many smaller lakes in the area. In 2019 I started walking down to the river once I discovered there was a nice path to follow. The beauty down there is just amazing, so quiet, wonderful solitude. Today is a pic of a small quiet bay of the river close to where I usually sit. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone and God bless!

Many thanks!😊😸 The smoke is very thick today so I have mainly stayed indoors. It is hard on my eyes.😣🔥🙀

Yes, I understand, the thick smoke, There have been years when thick smoke made the air hard to breathe. In some places it smoldered in the peat moss over a long cold winter!

Yes, we have often had fires smolder in the peat over winter and then break out again in the spring once things dried out. Yep, it can get hard to breathe for sure!
