  1. “Winter began six days ago!???” Autumn began on September 23rd down here in Kentucky with the autumnal equinox! Just today I posted Autumn’s Peak in Kentucky pics.
Winter doesn’t arrive until the winter solstice, December 22 this year. Even then, sometimes we get better than 50⁰F even in January.
Send SNOW! We need help experiencing winter!!😁

    • Up here the weather doesn’t follow the calendar, our seasons start when they start. Kind of silly to say that winter starts the end of December when snow has been on the ground for 2 months already by then!πŸ€” Winter here lasts at least 6 months, not 3, sometimes 7 months. So we forget about the Solstices here, seasons start and end whenever they do.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜Ή We basically have 2 seasons, one with snow, one without!πŸ™„πŸ™€β„οΈβ„οΈ

  2. Beautiful sunrise photos, Steve! Winter arrived at our place last night at 32 F. No snow, but then you never know when it may arrive. Some winters we don’t get any snow, and some winters we get more than we can handle. Hugs to you and Muffin. 😺πŸ₯žβ˜•
