From The Heights. #33

Good morning everyone! It is a wonderful morning here, the sun is shining brilliantly, though hidden by the clouds. But there is a bright spot in the clouds where the sun is located presently. And, it is mild, with a temperature of 41F (5C), which is much warmer than usual for this time of year. That part is nice.

And it will continue this week, though perhaps a bit cooler. Our snow is almost gone. After today there will likely be very little snow left anywhere, except in shady locations. I was busy this morning moving things around, getting ready for people later who will bring in a new refrigerator, and remove the old one. I am hoping they come this morning, but I have not heard any noise in the hall yet.

That is not a good sign. It likely means it will be afternoon before they get here. Sigh. Oh well. It will be here when it gets here. Muffin does not like things being upset though. It causes stress for her. So the sooner I can get things back to normal, the better. I was hoping she would sleep until they brought the new fridge in, but that did not happen.

She came out a few minutes ago and wanted attention. I went around looking for her toys, some had disappeared. As usual. But it shows she enjoys playing with them. I did find two fuzzy balls, one blue, one orange. She loves playing with those. But she was not in a playful mood right now. Too stressed. She is sort of half sleeping now anyway. Sort of.

Hmm, she is awake and wants something to eat. I will be back… There, I am back, that did not take too long, did it? Well, I have been waiting 3 hours now and those people are still not here with the fridge. Hopefully I will get some time to work on my table today. I cannot do it while I am waiting since I will be in the way when they come.

When my table is finished, then I will start to bake some cookies. And a cake. Though not at the same time. And some biscuits. I have not made them for a long time. They are so nice with tea. Yum! If they bring that fridge early enough I will bake something this afternoon.

I should never talk about food. Especially that kind. Oh well. Not much happening right now. You could probably tell. Have a nice day everyone and God bless!

  1. What kind of fridge are you getting? Is it a large and roomy one? Will you be able to get out of the apartment this week? The weather is so nice for this time of the year. I’m sorry I’ve been busy in the evenings and not able to chat as much as before. So I’m trying to bet online during lunch times and the afternoon. I hope to hear back from you during those times.🤞
