For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
WINTER GLEE
Here comes winter, we jump with glee,
All is frozen, including me.
Snowflakes falling, it looks so nice,
I go outside, and slip on ice.
I dress real warm, and go for walk,
I meet someone, too cold to talk.
We try to raise, our arms to wave,
But those thick clothes, do not behave.
Instead we fall, onto the ground,
We just lie there, not make a sound.
I get back home, pull out my keys,
They fall in snow, deep as my knees.
I reach right down, to get them quick,
And to my hand, they now do stick.
Snowflakes still fall, snow getting deep,
I shovel snow, into a heap.
Winter, it comes, fills half the year,
And when it comes, I’m filled with fear!

That’s how winter was in Wisconsin so I can’t imagine it being any better up where you are, lol. Just take it easy and use baby steps.

Yep, I do try to take it easy on that ice, and snow, and ice, and snow and…well a never ending cycle!๐๐ฅถ

Well, everyone has their likes and dislikes though why you would want to live our winters is a mystery!๐ค๐๐น๐ฅถโ๏ธ

A good description of winter in general. But I admit I personaly love winter. Then again, I basically love all seasons ๐.

Thank you! It was only written in fun, however, I am definitely not a cold weather person! Kind of strange for a person living in the north.๐๐น
