For a smile as wide as a country sunrise
Good morning everyone! Welcome back to another random photo. It is beautiful today, sunny and a south wind blowing. The temperature should rise to 41F (5C) today, absolutely beautiful for a December day! Already the streets are wet as the snow begins to melt once more, not something we hear too much in the month of December.

Today I have a photo of some ducklings, Common Merganser to be exact. The mother has just gone underwater to find some lunch for her little brood. I am actually very close to them when I took the picture while they stayed huddled together not far from shore. If you look closely, one of them is yawning. No, not peeping, but yawning, they stay very quiet while mom is away. Have a great day everyone and God bless!

Yes indeed, they sure are cute! There is always at least one and sometimes two or three families down at the river each year.😊😺📷
